Becoming a Member

If you are interested in becoming a member, please read and follow the directions below. New members pay the yearly membership dues of $200 plus a one-time origination fee of $200 for a total of $400 for the first year. Yearly renewal memberships thereafter will be $206.


New Member Requirements

Minimum membership age is 21

Maintain a valid Alabama Driver’s License

Maintain a valid State of Alabama County Pistol Permit


To become a member, follow the instructions below.


Step 1

Attend a monthly club meeting that is normally held at 6PM on the third Tuesday of each month at Ted’s BBQ in Madison. Contact the Club Treasurer and Membership Chairman Rick Smith at to confirm which monthly meeting you will attend and for questions about membership. Be certain to a bring a check for $400 and a current, valid Alabama Driver’s License and a current, valid State of Alabama County Pistol Permit. At that meeting, you will be asked to introduce yourself and tell us a little about who you are and your shooting interests. You will also be given a Membership application to complete and submit with your check.


Step 2

Contact Kent Childress at to schedule and complete a Range Safety and Orientation session. Upon completion of the session, your membership will come up for a vote at the next monthly meeting.


Step 3

You will then receive an email from Rick Smith that contains instructions on how to create an online Membership Account which must be done before you will be emailed a copy of your Membership Card with the range gate combination.
